The Rally Islas Canarias takes out a package of financial aid aimed at the Canary pilots with the aim of promoting their participation in the event that will be part of the World Rally Championship next year. With this measure has been sought that Canarian drivers receive significant support to be part of this historic milestone that is to have a test of the FIA WRC in the Canary Islands.
In this sense, the organising committee has made an important effort, together with the public institutions, to encourage the participation of Canarian sportsmen and women in the world-class event. Specifically, the aid package consists of the registration prices that have been set and which are ‘special’ in relation to the prices of the rest of the participants. The prices for Canarian pilots are as follows:
Drivers with Rally2 vehicles: 3.200 € + IGIC.
Drivers with Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 vehicles: 2.500 € + IGIC.
Finally, in order to access the aid package, the interested Canarian drivers must be pending the communication of the Particular Regulations of the event to be able to register as any participant. The 49th Rally Islas Canarias will be part, for the first time in its history, the FIA World Rally Championship (FIA WRC). A historic milestone for the sporting event to be held from 24 to 27 April 2025.
The Rally Islas Canarias is organized by Todo Sport and promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands by Promotur Turismo de Canarias, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through its Instituto Insular de Deportes and the Patronato de Turismo de Gran Canaria, the Ayuntamiento de las Palmas de Gran Canaria via its Instituto Municipal de Deportes and the Concejalía de Turismo and LPA Visit.
